Following
Sometimes life experiences parallel a truth. Sometimes you arrive at realizations through your circumstance. So without further ado, here’s a little piece of what I gleaned from the cross-country skiing into a hangry blizzard episode.
In being led, you submit
the right to know when, how, or why.
Put your trust wholeheartedly in the leader
that they’ve got you;
they won’t let you down;
they will make a way.
Though you can’t see much
in front of you,
you keep going.
Eyes on them–
onwards.
A little note to self, to exercise that faith muscle as I follow Jesus in the fun adventure that is life. My leader is wholly trustworthy, he’s got my best interests at heart, and always, always faithful. There’s really no need to fret.
